What’s a digital marketer…?

Are you selling or promoting anything on social media? Okay, you are a digital marketer. Not you, pyramid schemes *ahem* I mean, multi-level marketing. If you have an audience and you want to help make their lives easier and better with your product or service, it’s important to have your shit on lock. To make your life easier, use these three things to ease your marketing efforts.

PS. This post is not sponsored. I just really like these programs.

Canva

If you have not heard of Canva before, you need to run–not walk over to the site and sign up for a free account. Canva is an amazing tool that allows you to show off your inner graphic design skills with zero effort. The website has plenty of free templates for Instagram stories, posts, covers, invoices, and everything else you need to look professional.

Grammarly

Grammarly is your go-to writing assistant. With this website (which can be downloaded into your browser), you are able to copy and paste your captions, blog posts, website updates and more into their generator, and it gives you suggestions and corrections to all your work.

I don’t always use it, and when I don’t… you can tell (Hello, typo sitting on my website for the last three months). Always a work in progress, baby.

Your Old Content

Don’t let me lose you here. This tip will save you a boatload of time and frustration. The third thing you should be using as a digital marketer is your old content!

Find what posts did really well and turn it into a blog post. Find out Instagram story did amazing and turn that into an email campaign.

Don’t reinvent the wheel. You have different types of clients at a variety of touch points throughout your content web (email, various social media platforms, website, etc.). Make sure everyone gets to see your best stuff!
